Please elaborate as well...trying to decide which one to use.

I now only use Clonezilla.

boot into a linux live disc, and use dd to copy a partition/drive to a file on my server.

 

or I'll use gparted and just copy/paste from drive to drive

My Server - Update 1 - Update 2 - Update 3 - Update 4
