Y50 Touch Screen Replacement

I want to replace my screen for my Y50 Touch. I don't really care about the touch functionality. Please help.

If you are capable at taking apart your laptop then read on, if not then take it to a repair shop

The first thing you need to do is take apart your laptop to get access to behind the screen. There should be a model number on that screen (you require this to find an appropriate replacement display).

 

The model number should look somthing like this : 

 

B156HAN01.2

B156HAN01.1

LP156WF4(SP)(B1)

LP156WF4(SP)(D1)

 

 

once you have that number its as simple as searching the internet for the cheapest replacement (Ebay,Amazon etc). Fit the display and you will be good to go
