I am looking at building in an air 240 fairly soon and I was thinking about lighting up the window. I had a look around and saw that most LED strips don't seem to be able to be turned off very easily. Does anybody know if there are any easily controllable LEDs out there that will fit in an air 240? Not necessarily RGB but preferably software controlled.

Thanks for any help in advance. I've never had a case with a window before so I don't really know too much about lighting so any help is appreciated.

Custom LED strips with an off switch

You could also get an NZXT CB-LED10

Haven't seen many software controlled ones around

@Marcus_UK

addoncustoms.com do some really nice and bright LEDs

Thank Tim.

Hey @jingleberry

Our LEDs are simple, you pick what you want. I will then make it, and send it right to your door. All you do is open package, peel off the sticky back, stick you where you want them, plug in the strip and turn on your computer.

You can pick the LED colour, then choose power cable length (10cm to 2 meters) Sleeving Colour (Black or Red) and choose either a 3pin fan connector or 4pin molex.

We don't have RGB in stock yet, but will do in a couple of months, currently still testing them.

Our Single colour strips can be dimmed and switched off when plugged into a fan controller. I am currently working on some inline controllers and remote controls for single colour LEDs, but the earliest these will be available would be September.

I do have plans to make LEDs that come with software, but this

Ooh well that's cool. That mounts via PCI doesn't it?

Yea, but it doesn't actually use a PCI slot on your motherboard. Just the case slot.

Actually planning on getting one if I can even find it in stock >.<

Ahh cool, I'll look into getting that then. Not as much customisation as I was hoping for but that is still pretty cool. Thanks a lot :-) .

If you're in the UK it seems to be available on amazon
