Oneplus One. EMMC Possibly Corrupted but not sure, need help unbricking, without Jtag if possible.

Piku-Chan
If anybody can add me on skype or steam or any other IM platform, that would be fantastic, just PM me if you could, with your user for anything.

I have all the possible QPST tools needed to interface with my device, and it still has some life left in it, for example it is still able to interface via usb through qualcomm's 9008 qdloader drivers.

I have tried endlessly to unbrick this device using various tools and methods, but they all come up with that same error relating to Sahara, firehose, or programmer. I can't seem to get MiFlash to do anything, since I know basically nothing about how it works, just that I followed some guys tutorial on flashing to the Opo, but it doesn't seem to work. All the QPST tools say it can't communicate with the

flash programmer.

Am I screwed except for JTAG? I really, desperately need help, and this seems to be the only place to get actual help from devs who actually understand what is happening in terms of partitions, etc. (Xda won't help me since I'm a new user and I've tried posting multiple times and got basically no response.)

I think you are better of asking this in the Oneplus forum or XDA, they are more experienced with this, I once bricked mine and revived with exactly this trick and I can't see you doing anything wrong so can't help you.

Like I said, nobody is willing to help me on the XDA forums. I just get linked to the same thread over and over again by admins. And there is a literal page of consecutive complaints about the same issues I'm having with no responses.

I've been at this for 4 days straight. It's hard to find actual developers, most of the people at XDA Devs are, contrarily, not actually devs. If I could actually talk to a developer who understands Qualcomm's, I'd be a lucky soul indeed and probably actually manage to get this sorted out.

I'm searching for a Jtagging service in my area now, but no dice. Absolutely nobody offering a service in the UK as far as I can tell knows what they are doing. The only thing they are interested in is popular phones like HTC's and Samsungs where they can just plug it into a computer and repair it in 1 click using a piece of software so they can charge £40 for the service of doing just that.

You wouldn't believe how embarassing it is as a techie to call a repair shop up that claims they're specialists in hardware and software only to be asked "So what phone is it? Is it a samsung, a htc?". They didn't even know what a jtag was.

Yeah. Well the guys do seem to have a good record of repairing devices, I just hope they can do a simple jtag and save me the trouble of learning how to jtag something properly, and the £80 expense of buying a box like the Riff Box. If anything, this whole ordeal has been a very big learning experience for do's and don'ts, developer terminology, as well as new hardware discoveries. Since it's Summer anyway, and I won't be needing a phone for a while since I'm probably doing nothing, I'm kind of having fun.
