High-Pitched Squealing While Computer Off

Title pretty much says it all. Why does my power supply do this? It squeals when it's plugged in and the switch is flipped on, but the computer is turned off. The sound goes away when the computer is turned on. Immediately after turning the computer off, it starts again. I have a Corsair HX750i.

Something in your power supply is rubbing together. This could either be a maintenance issue, or a manufacturer issue. How long has it been doing this?

I just bought it to replace an RM650 that got RMA'd due to bad coil whine.

I have to warn you - do not take your power supply apart unless you have a lot of experience. A PSU with that wattage can physically kill you if you touch or break it in the wrong part. I would personally contact Corsair tech support, they offer fantastic chat & voice call service. If you've had the PSU for not a long time, you could probably return it.

Yeah, I know. I think even if I had a lot of experience I still wouldn't do it :P Is it worth getting it replaced though? I've already gone through the trouble once and I'd be fine with it if it was safe. I'm just worried something in the power supply is wrong and it could be a fire hazard.
