BF4 Audio Setting

Sorry, to ask this ridiculously nooby question, but I use a headset when playing BF4 and I'm wondering if I should set the audio setting to "Headphones" or "Hi-Fi"?

Headphones. Duh.

What's the difference? I had it set to Hi-Fi before, then I discovered this setting and I switched it to headphones but I couldn't make out any huge changes

Probably some frequency changes or something of that jargon. I know some games I've played with these kinds of settings, they just try to optimize the sound for what kind of device youre using, if that makes sense
