The problem is gonna be the motherboard and yes you can build that for cheaper doing a custom build.

I think the PSU in 500watts psu stands for "Potato, sucks, unreliable"

Same goes for motherboard probably, also they love to use non-standard cases and psus so you can't really drop a new mobo or psu later on. Trust me it's more trouble than the couple bucks you might save.

At this point I cant recommend mass prebuilts for gaming, especially HP's. They offer a good value up front, but not in the long run. The cases have terrible airflow, so expect to be constantly cleaning the vents, loud fan noise, and hot components. The PSU's are still made by LiteON, which are about as bad as $15 no name PSU's. Lastly, the motherboards are still Pegatron rubbish, which the only good thing I can say about  them is that they won't die, but you wish they would after you have to deal with them. By the time you fix all of this machines problems, you will spend more than a custom machine up front. There is a reason why custom machines cost more, because you get quality components that are designed well. HP just makes things look pretty, they don't care if it prematurely fails(and neither does their tech support, so that's not a selling point either).

Well seems like other people have already come up with builds for this lol but I figure you could get a small SSD aswell with that build.

Let's be honest, that shit isn't needed 75% of the time. Not only that, but you could add a cheap mouse and keyboard + DVD drive for like $30 :P
