Hey guys,

i need help with my wifi. my girlfriend has a new laptop, the asus ux303lb which has an intel wireless-ac 7265 wireless card. when i helped her install all of the new windows 8.1 updates, the wifi started to have problems. i expected this as i also had a windows 8.1 laptop which had wifi issues after updating but i managed to fix mine by running some code in command prompt. ill get to those code later.

her problem is a bit different from mine. basically both of our laptops would connect to the wifi network however, it would not be able to connect to the internet and it would say it has limited connectivity. even after using windows wifi troubleshooting, no dice.

for my laptop, i ran this code in command prompt as admin:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

netsh int tcp show global

this fixed my laptop for good, however when i do this on her laptop, it seems to work for a while but when i restart the computer for a few times, the problem comes back on her laptop.

i have also reinstalled the driver of the wifi card by using the update driver in computer management and browsing my computer for drivers then installing the signed drivers from intel.

the main problem is that her laptop will connect to the network immediately however it will not be able to access the internet and itll say limited connection but if you wait quite a while itll eventually be able to connect.

is there anyway to fix this other than formating the computer? i know its due to the windows 8.1 update because it was working perfect before the updates
