Hi all,

Got the ACER x270hu(144hrz ips g-sync) monitor and having a little trouble getting g-sync to work, In nvidia control panel I have the option "set up G-SYNC"  and I have it enabled but under "manage 3D settings" I go to "vertical sync" and I can only chose off or on but I think there should be a g-sync option there also by default or recommended.

As show here http://i.imgur.com/y3F5MCR.png

So not sure what is really going on here but tried un-installing and re-installing drivers clean and nothing still, ULMB is off and G-SYNC mode is on within the monitor options its self.

Anyone have any idea why this is?

I was under the impression that you turn off v-sync to allow g-sync to work?

It used to be that way, but recent drivers changed the options.

When GSync is enabled, VSync does not activate. However, you can disable GSync in individual games if it does not work properly. The new options allow you to enable VSync, while GSync is off for that game.

This is what your options should look like:
