around the  $70 range

that will get you a coke and a nice movie lol

Are you planning on building a pc ? Or do you already have a pc you want to upgrade ?

the cheapest I would go would be ~120$ for a GTX 750ti, R9 270x or R7 370

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

My conversion may be wrong since I'm not from the US. I have a pc already and I'm planning to upgrade. Right now, my psu is some really cheap and bad quality one. What psu would you recommend value wise?

Where do you live, and do you have a favorite online shop where we could check prices ?

Newegg is fine for me. If pricing isn't an issue what would you recommend?

The cheapest I would go would be EVGA 500w, those can be found very cheap.

Otherwise, Corsair, XFX, seasonic, etc are all good brands for 500w.

As for a GPU, I would go for a R9 390 ( but this also depends on budget )

Hmm, I'm thinking of a r9 280 due to my budget which is around 200 usd. For a card that is rather power hungry, do you think a seasonic m12ii 620w is enough?

Even 500w is enought for the R9 280,

But the seasonic is a good psu, if you can afford that and a R9 280 that's perfect.
