Powercolor Hd7870 Devil is now out and exclusive to Newegg

RainbowTylernol

Powercolor has just released their "Devil" HD7870 today. Check out Paul's unboxing here:

It goes for 259$ and is packed with some amazing features including an 1100Mhz base clock, 1250Mhz boost clock, and 5000Mhz memory.
It also comes with a back plate which I personally think is outstanding for a card of this price point. The fact that Powercolor is putting the same
cooler it used for the 7990 on this affordable mid tier card is awesome.

I'm exited to see some benchmarks for it. What do you guys think?

Looks like it's only a few frames shy of the GTX770. Pretty impressive when you consider the pricepoint.

I don't think you are looking at the graphs correctly. This card is not a few frames shy of the 770.

you can get a sapphire 7970 for under 300 dollars. this is pointless.

don't get me wrong, I love the card, but with options like a 7970 at 298 USD (after rebates) I'm not about to bother with a 7870.
