Hi,

I just put together my new system and I' m now testing the CPU. My temperatures after 15 minutes of testing are 52 on the second hottest core. Are those OK considering my room temperature is about 30 degrees Celcius (using an H100i in pull and everything is at full load under AIDA64 stress test CPU only) ? I' m also looking to overclock a little but I'm worried I might break something. Could someone tell me if it's only temperature and voltage that kill or if there is anything else that may go wrong and kill the CPU?

Under 1.5V and under 90C are the things to aim for. As for your temperatures we will not be able to give an accurate assumption without knowing your CPU.

DO you mean the CPU model as that is in my signature :) (i5 4670K)

You will probably get higher temperatures that others due to the cheap TIM between the die and the IHS.
