Best tablet for around 150?

I don't know much about tablets so I was hoping you guys could help me find a great tablet for around 150, thanks. Looking for 8-10" might consider 7", used for basic things like video, browsing, not many games.

Definitely take a look at the Nexus 7 2013 (MAKE SURE IT'S A 2013 MODEL). They might be a little difficult to find, but Amazon seems to have a 16GB and 32GB model here. The 16 runs for $165 USD right now, but may drop a little around the holidays. The 32GB is quite expensive.

I have a 16GB model myself, and after loading Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on it (it may take your tablet a little to receive it at first) am really happy with the experience. It comes with stereo speakers among other things, but I figure you'll look into that.
