This is not just for gaming, while I do game on my current rig its light gaming that could easily be achieved in 1/4 of the cost of this planned rig, but I've started to get into playing around in Cinema 4D, Adobe Aftereffects, FL Studio and Sony Vegas 13 for Video and Audio rendering/creation then on top of that I also run EdgeCam and Solidworks for CNC Machining work that I do and after you get a model to a certain point Solidworks starts eating RAM like its candy then start ripping your graphics cards a new one just trying to render the freaking thing.

Rampage isn't a very good board m8, SOC Champion or X99 Mpower ALL DAY.

The SOC Champion is what I was referring to when I said I know of boards in my preferred color scheme but on the main issue at hand, have you used the board before? how was its reliability? Any issues within the time frame you owned/used the board? If any what were they? Will it work with the Intel 750 SSD when using it as a boot drive?

That M/B cost as much as my GPU, CPU, RAM and M/B combined!

Happens, I just really want to do something a little out of the ordinary but at the same time something I can say "I made that and I don't give a crap how much I spent on it, I am very proud of it." while also being something I could use daily with zero issues be it heavy rendering or just basic day to day usage.

I am proud of my PC and it was my 1st build and 6 months of planing went into it.

(NOW I AM GETTING DEFENSIVE OF STUFF THAT DOESN'T MATTER)

For fans I vouch for the Be Quiet! Silent Wings 2 (PWM) and yes they're quiet.

Then for monitors one or two LG 34UC97-S's .

I feel like EKWB is a better choice to go for but I don't know I'd rather use Closed Loop (AIO) coolers.

Haha I'm not slamming your rig in anyway man no need to be defensive. In my opinion if it works for you, it's the right rig for you and if you need to improve then so be it, if you don't then there isn't a need to.
