Quick question

Go to solution Solved by Gikero,

just to double check then, 970 will be all good for it yeah?

Roommate does it with a 970 and I have the same setup on my 750Ti. I honestly don't think it does anything, performance-wise, to the card. Maybe if I was doing something GPU intensive, but I just use for browser and Skype while I game.

Okay, just want to check I'm not missing something, I have  a 1080p monitor already that I use for gaming on, and I'm getting a second one to act as a skype/teamspeak/multitasking random stuff monitor  :P

Question is, will a single 970 (probably the evga 970 superclocked) handle that and still be able to play games pretty much maxed out? Games like GTA V, arma 3, battlefield 4, bunch of other fps games. 60 fps would be nice but not essential.

Thanks in advance,

Ash

I really don't recommend playing games on 2 monitors, because there will be a line running across the middle of your view.

Either get one or three monitors for gaming

the second one is off to the side anyway, not gonna be gaming on it, just to keep an eye on teamspeak browsers etc

Don't think you can be fullscreen in one  monitor and use Windows apps in the other, the secondary monitor will just go black when you start up a game

Been using a tv for it but just rearranged the desk so it wont be in view anymore, windowed borderless, means no black screen
