800D worth it...?

Go to solution Solved by Andi,

watercooling is expensive...buy a new case for watercooling when you are ready to spend the money on it!

Right now i have FINALLY gotten my build kinda set in stone. its purdy, its clean...but theres no room for watercooling. i can buy an 800D for $150. i have the antec 1100 and it already seems large. is the 800D that big of a difference and is it worth it?

i have plenty of space.

the 800D is only a bit bigger than your antec 1100. and 150$ is cheap. i would buy it. BUT do you want to watercool?

i want to watercool. eventually. i just dont know if $150 is worth it.

i have plenty of space.

In that case, i'd say no. Corsair cases are already overhyped and overpriced IMO.

However! If you want to get a new case, i can recommend the Shinobi XL. It's a dream to build in, It's relatively large and for watercooling, it can fit 2 360mm rads. One in the top, one in the front.

It's definitely cheap comparatively. The shinobi is a tiny bit smaller than the 800D, but i'd say it's worth it.

... I may still be under the new case euphoria though :P

They're just overhyped and overpriced in my opinion, others may have reason to justify spending that much on a case, me however, no.

Also! the shinobi can fir 200mm rads too! :p
