In my other build topic i was suggested to change PSU as one selected is overpriced and there are better ones to choose from for similar price. I would also like some cases suggestions i have attached my shopping cart which is rough idea of build i am planning to get.

I think the PSU is amazing, with that set up, also case wise, I'd suggest the H440 or the Define R series cases, or the obsidian 350D

(I know this is irrelevant to the topic but i couldn't help my self ) why are you getting the 980 instead of the 980 Ti? I think that the 980 is no longer worth it honestly.

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240

I also thought this psu was good but i was told that there are better ones for this price. And i did look at H440T earlier looks really good and would also match my red build but it looks a bit simple and i was thinking about getting something with more agressive look. The price for 980 will go down since TI is coming so i thought to get that and later add another 980

I really don't recommend going for SLI if there's already a more powerful single card out there, if you don't have the money right now just save up and get the 980 Ti later, its much much more worth it

You, if you are not SLI-ing, will be fine with a 400W PSU in terms of efficiency and wattage. EVGA sells the GS series which come in 650W and 550W for good prices as well as Antec's High Current Gamer series - both these are good for the money.

For the case, it's totally up to you for what looks good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
