Witcher 3 missing resolution settings

For some reson the option to set the game at 1440p is completely missing from the settings menu. 4k is there though. Can someone tell me why basic things such as a resolution setting is missing from the game?

MainRig- CPU: 4790k, RAM: 32gb 2400mhz, MOBO: Maximus Formula VII, COOLING: Full EK cooling, GPU: Titan X SLI, PSU: 1200w evga , STORAGE: 250gb SSD, 4TB hybrid CASE: 760T, EXTRAS: Sleeved cables

SecondRig- CPU:4690K, RAM: 16gb 1600mhz, MOBO: Maximus Gene VII, COOLING: H105, GPU: 970ftw, PSU: EVG650W,  STORAGE: 250gb SSD, 3TB, CASE: 540air 

Steam: pizzatime6 Plus two other pc rigs and a craptop.

EDIT: nevermind there's no option for resolution in this program :( only aspect ratio

Not only is the resolution settings missing but a fps drop as well. Optimization for this game has major issues here.....

I've played it from 1080p to 1440p to 4k before on Witcher 3 so...

Yeah for some reason it was a different issue. I managed to figure it out. Still really annoying, sometimes I hate computers with a passion.

What was the issue? I am curious... On my one I get a wide pallet of resolutions. What monitor do you have?

The monitor didnt have 2k set as a option. I made a custom resolution using the nvidia control panel. After that I had to turn SLI and it solved all my issues. I have no idea why 2k resolution went missing in my desktop settings though. I have the asus 28" 4k monitor.
