If I have chrome open and I switch to a different sound source: IE: from speakers to headphones or vice versa, the sounds stops and I have to close and re-open chrome for the changes to take effect.   Anyone know why this is or how to fix it? I'm seriously getting tired of all the issues I've had with my phoebus, but I can't return it to amazon because the 30 days are up I think. :/ My phoebus has been nothing but issues since I've gotten it.

I have this issue but with minecraft. Having to close and re-open for it to follow the system setting for sound output :/

Yeah, just checked amazon's return thing and it wore off july 6th.. So I can't get a refund. dunno what else to do, or how to check to find out what to do.

 I really don't want to do a complete re-install of windows to check if thats the issue.. But if I have to I probably will..

All the issues I've had so far is: Sound crackling after pc being on for awhile, and the issue I've stated in the OP.

I've somewhat alleviated the crackling, but it still does it sometimes.

So far I've tried deleting every driver related to sound, re-installing the newest versions,

changing pci slots,

trying diff placements of my gpu's + card to ensure it wasn't getting to hot,

using different frequency settings,

getting a replacement didn't fix it either,

and also trying diff pci-e cords.

200$ for a part and I've had nothing but absolute issues with it. ._.

Is there anything I can try besides doing a new install of windows..?
