Laptop suggestions

Hey guys

Not sure if this is the right area to post this but I'm looking to buy a new laptop for 800 Australian dollars, 600ish USD.

I'm pretty good at desktops but my laptop knowledge is little to none. I just need a decent rig for basic gaming; minecraft and portal and what not.

I don't care about HDD speeds as I'll likely pop an SSD in there, touch functionality doesn't really interest me and I don't really care how thin it is. I just need a powerhouse for the money.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think can go with either Asus X550LD or HP which are quite good one also the lenovo.
