Yesterday I asked here about building a PC for the first time, and It was brought up about the choice of casing. I do like the look and size of small cases (every more portable is helpful) but now I am stuck wondering if it is better off obtaining a bigger case (NZXT s340, or even the H440)  that allows future add-ons and customizability.

The case I originally had in mind was a EVGA Hadron Air, which can handle 1 gpu and a mITX. if i build it as I planned that'll leave me with just about no major future improvements in major parts.

With the NZXT s340, it has enough capacity for 2 gpu with an ATX and which means even if i have relatively the same build as I would with the Hadron now, if for some reason i need more power for the games it leaves me with the option to SLI 2x GTX 970 ... (at least I think i'm following this correctly).

my question for you folks:

1. How often, if you ever, upgrade your PC (gaming pc if you have multiple).

2. How long is a GTX 970 going to last me playing games? and is SLI-ing (what is the term here) two 970's when the 970 do not suffice anymore going to give me the solution?

3. If you had to pick a case out of the ones mentioned above, which would you pick for a gaming rig?

thanks in advance

Its up to you, you know what your future plans are and if you will have enough money to buy 2 high end gpus. If you don't think you will put so much money into a pc then don't worry. For me, I went with the enthoo pro, a full size case but not for the future upgradeablity because I know I'm sticking in that mid-range price range but mostly because I really liked it because of its build quality, looks and such

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

I would go with a larger case. Better air flow, more room for expansion with bigger cards. Then again you can achieve good airflow and have a big card in a small case, just more effort but if you prefer a smaller case then I guess it would be a good option for you.
