Hi,

I have been thinking about building a gaming PC for quite a while now, I have spent some time researching parts and put together a parts list but I would like your thoughts on it.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/pTgjkL

I still need a wireless network adapter and a decent monitor, I'm hoping to have to in the long run

I was thinking about changing the GPUs to Sapphire tri x and going 2-way-CrossFire with them instead as the Asus's apparently have a problem with overheating.

£460 is around the max I can spend on GPU so I was wondering if it would be better to get one GPU instead - more expandability in the long run - and a singular GPU may be better although I'm not sure what would be a good choice. I am pretty happy with all of the other parts unless you can see some major reason for me not picking them.

Budget is in the region of £1200 but that can stretch a little - but I still need a mouse and Keyboard, although I'm really not that particular but have no idea what to look for.

Go easy on me, this is my first post.

Thanks for your help!

What sort of difference does overclocking have to the performance, is it easy to do?

Overclocking makes a pretty huge difference. It's not difficult.

I'd also recommend getting a better cooler depending on the overclock amount... Let me change the build slightly:

If you stretch your build to 100 pounds you can even have a 1440p IPS display, as for the OS, look at here http://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/, much cheaper than retailer

Thanks for the video!

So many options! I was hoping for Win7 as I have some old games that I think can't run on anything more recent. At the moment i think I prefer Garnet Devils build as it has everything included although Czexs looks pretty beefy

Any suggestions on a wireless network adapter?

Just pick anything cheap and reliable (and uses PCI-E instead of USB as well)

I'd prefer TP-Link
