Sennheiser rma/customer support?

So my sennheiser cx645 broke at the 90* jack after about 6 months of usage.

How is sennheiser support? If i were to rma my ear buds without at proof of purchase (bought them on boxing day at future shop) would i get a replacement, or should i just splurge on a pair of jaybird's.

I mean i really like these earbuds, they fit great and sound better than beats so they work good for me and it would be better if i could just get them replaced

I can't tell you about what will happen without a proof of purchase. I can tell you that at the very least, they just wouldn't accept them in the first place. Otherwise, they would charge a little bit for the repairs, or do it for free, under warranty, so it's worth a shot. Otherwise, I can vouch for their support when you do have proof of purchase. They paid shipping both ways and I got my IE80s back within 2 weeks. No charges to me whatsoever. If I were to have one complaint, it would be the lack of communication for what steps they were going through, but then again, I'm spoiled by the repair support from my local speaker shop...

 

I sent in my proof of purchase, but you just might be able to get away with sending them the serial number if you've got that.

 

Great support overall though! Would definitely send products into Sennheiser any time.
