Banned because I live in the US state that receives the most lightning. And do yearly hurricane prep. 

So Banned for good intuition.

It does cool down after a hurricane to the low 70s or about 21C so we don't melt all the time.

Oh, I forgot, the hurricanes usually spawn tornadoes within the storm. Nice.

Banned because we get floods, landslides and smaller storms. And avalanches.

      Banned because I don't get landslides (almost the entire state is at sea level) or avalanches, but I forgot to mention many areas by me that are prone to flash flooding, which is nice.

Banned because are flash floods worse than overflowing rivers? I'd imagine they are given the lack of elevation in your area

The "river," in this case, is the Atlantic Ocean, and flash floods happen much faster. They usually occur when, you guessed it, a hurricane makes landfall.

BTW, what I described is why Hurricane Katrina was so devastating in Mississippi, combined with a poor seawall.

Banned because it is allowed due to all of the power outages that happen. Because of the amount of overtime they need to do, they basically get paid in gold bars. People who do outside jobs for Internet Companies like AT&T are basically in the same boat.
