Newegg Shipping issues...

I'm shipping a 980 ti I ordered via Newegg from Los Angeles to Ny on the 16th with UPS' surepost. It began shipping on the 17th but the shipping information has not updated since it first departed and it has me worried, this made me check directly with UPS and it says the same thing. Should I be worried or am I just paranoid and have a lack of trust in modern shipping standards?

When is the expected delivery date? It takes time sometimes, just be patient.

I chose the standard 7-8 day shipping, and ups says to expect it in about 3 says

No surprise with UPS SurePost. Wow that sucks if newegg is shipping GPUs with them now, when I bought my 970 from them in December it was shipped UPS ground and in Texas three business days later. SurePost is slow as hell and they ship on retarded routes that it seems like are designed to take the absolute longest time. That's par for the course to have something sit in a warehouse without an update for a couple of days with SurePost in the middle of the week, and then all UPS shipments will do that on weekends. UPS SurePost and Fedex SmartPost are both garbage, and expect anything shipped with them to take 3 more days than scheduled. Anything shipped SurePost or SmartPost is the absolute lowest of low priority. If they're going to start shipping everything SurePost and SmartPost I'll just take the 8.125% hit and pay sales tax and order through Amazon. When I got my Xeon E3-1231v3 from newegg it took 10 days instead of the normal 3 UPS Ground takes thanks to Fedex SmartPost, and then I had a similar experience with UPS SurePost when I ordered some fans and fan filters. I love newegg, but I'm going to stop buying from them if they're going to start shipping everything in SurePost and SmartPost.
