Removing programs

So I've ditched my HDD where alot of my programs were on which I don't need and that's fine but.

Now all the programs aren't officialy uninstalled and they still appear on my programs list, is there a way to like scan all the drives and have the programs removed which don't even exist anymore on the drive they were installed on?

I could do it by hand but there are houndreds of them ( mostly steam games ).

I  think that revo uninstaller and wise uninstaller may allow you to remove the remnants of the programs from the registry.

revo seems to be the best from my testing.

in this situation I just delete them all and run ccleaners registry cleaner.
