Steam Stream help please

Hello, how are you?

I need help to optimize my stream play experience.

My current setup is this:

 

I have my main gaming PC with steam and my games.

Then I have na HP G62 laptop with steam installed to stream from my gaming PC.

I have it connected with a wired network connection.

 

This setup works great.

I am able to play with a great experience directely on the laptop.

 

The issue is when I add my HDTV to the mix.

 

I connect my Philips 1080p 60hz TV to the laptop with na HDMI cable.

I have the display correctly configured in Windows as a 1080P 60hz display.

But when I stream games, there is really bad stutter.

 

If I disconnect the TV and run the same games on the laptop screen, no stutter...

 

I don't know what to do.

 

Can you help me out?

Probably the laptop's gpu that isn't able to decode all the data.

Afaik most laptop outputs are connected to the gpu, not the igpu.

can i ask what's the point of all this effort for streaming on steam why not just twitch or hitbox? only thing i use steam stream for is to show friends things
