Let's face it .. The 3440x1440 Standard (21:9) is just an extended QHD Monitors (2560x1440 + little bump) ..

All the 4K monitors that I've seen so far are 16:9 Aspect Ratio ..

Are there any 4K Ultrawide monitors around ? If not, are any coming in the Horizon ?

This may or may not get people worked up about 4k vs DCI 4k. I hope not though.

Also, I don't think there are any 4k Ultrawide monitors yet from what I've searched.

LG 105UC9 + Samsung 105U9500

Realisticly, there's isn't anything soon that will be able to drive these resolutions properly. Colors have to be left out and/or refresh rate has to suffer for the cables to be able to transport all this data over the current specs. Maybe DP 1.4+ or HDMI 2.1+ (whatever the next version numbers will be) may be able to handle this.

If there's any good chance for it to come out it will be later this year.

Think we will have to wait for display port 1.4 or later, as this is our current limitation: "5120x3200 at 60Hz with dual DisplayPort connectors"

And I dont remember seeing any monitors that supports 2 display ports inputs.

What about higher than 60 Hz for 3440x1440 .. does it exist ? The only one I know is the ASUS Curved one displayed in Computex 2015 which was 75 Hz if I remember correctly

Philips will announce one on the IFA in september, but i personally don't expect it to be either good or available anytime soon.

MMD is the manufacturer of these monitors. They pay Philips a fee to let them put the Philips logo on them. Naturally they would have to pay Philips as well to have these monitors feature at such event. So it could be that they will be available soon afterwards, as there is no point in paying Philips for marketing if you'll wait several months to bring the product.

But if i may ask, why do you want this? Sure these are nice screens, but pixel density (PPI) is really really low.

That monitor is terrible for gaming, as seen in Linus' video, if thats what people need to use it for.
