I'm using a tiny chair right now, pretty sure it's for kids lol. I barely fit on it, the seat is like 10 inches wide.

Can anyone link chairs they like that have GOOD build quality?

I'd really like to steer away from crappy plastic ones, (the fancy "executive" chairs that look great but have horrible build quality and only last awhile).

I've seen ones on http://www.needforseatusa.com/ but they're very spendy, and I want other opinions/options first.

My budget is around 200-400$, I can spend more but idk if I want to.

I was in a car accident, resulting in serious hip injuries that screwed my back up as well, so what I do for a living is physical therapy lol.

My chair was $30.....at WALMART.

For the most part only Americans will get the significance of a cheap WalMart chair. All of the padding on the actual seat part has flattened out or moved to the sides. I now sit on a hard plastic pole (enough giggles) for about 7-12 hours a day. This thing sucks.

As for a new chair for you friend check out places like Staples or Office Max. A friend on mine got a new chair for $320 which feels like it came down from heaven when you sit in it. I went over to his house for a lan and we took it downstairs onto his back porch which is glassed in like another room on his house. He slept in it 3 nights in a row he said it was that good.

I don't know if they sell it in the USA, but this is my chair and is really comfortable and well built, after 8 month the seat is still like new, it supports the back very well and is fully adjustable, i seat on it for several hours with no problems. I paid it 240€ on amazon, more or less
