SSD power connector damaged

Go to solution Solved by pspfreak,

My 840 pro is the same way. Works just fine. Don't worry about it.

Hey folks,

recently I have been fiddling in my PC, adding custom made PSU extensions and whatnot, and I noticed on my SSD that the "notch" on the power connector is broken off (random pic for reference included)

Does it pose a problem? The SSD is working fine currently and the damage doesn't reach the pins or anything, just the plastic broke off. I am not crazy scared, but just want to make sure, that my SSD will live on ;)

Thanks

No problem. Just don't put the SATA connector on backwards :)
