Waterblock comparison

I was going to get a EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ - Nickel + Plexi but then decided that I want a XSPC 7970 block. So for the looks I would go with a XSPC Raystorm

 

How much performance difference would there be between this two blocks.

Is the EK block worth the extra 20 dollars?

The ek supremacy will only perform 1 or 2 degrees better but in waterblocks it's not about performance because all of them also perform the same it's all about which one looks better for you

One other thing, about the metal on the blocks. Would there be a difference between an Acetal + Nickel mosfet block and an Acetal one?

No there is no difference it's just the nickel will look better to some people.

Nickel is more resistant to corrosion. The nickel is only a surface layer. It is actually made of copper.
