GPU Problem

I was wondering if my GPU performance can be affected by my screen resolution (1680 x 1050) with a GTX 970.

I have an I5-4460 3.2GHZ QUAD CORE. I was getting really bad FPS on Arma II...

The Arma games are very CPU intensive and not a whole lot of people can say they get a solid 60FPS on a mulitplayer server... I would set the render distance to about 1000ish and see what happens from there.

Arma is just a really bad optimized game.

As said above arma is bad, use any other game.

Try other game.

 

Resolution does affect GPU performance (but don't use Arma).

Higher resolution = less performance.
