Casing fan spins very slowly. Why?

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

This my system spec:

Cooler: CM Hyper T4

MB: MSI Z87M-G43

GPU: Asus Strix GeForce GTX 960

PSU: CM 450watt

I don't think the CPU temp affect the fan because it is not connected to MB.

Maybe my PSU faulty? or the fan itself? it works fine before though.

If they are connected via the PSU make sure if you want it at full speed it is connected to 12V.

Any idea why my front casing fan spins slowly?

It starts to happen after I install new cpu air cooler and Gtx 960.

However I don't think both have any effect to the casing fan.

I will attach the video.

Depends how you have it connected up but you should be able to vary the fan speed in the BIOS or motherboard's software as long as it's connected to the motherboard header.

if the fans are connected to mobo and you installed new CPU cooler, it might be it

the CPU is not running that hot and mobo will spin all fans at lower speed
