Help looking for monitors,

For my current setup I've been using a 40" vizio tv at 1920x1080 as my monitor for my pc, however it's really annoying since that means I can't use my tv at all when I'm using my pc. So I decided to look into getting some monitors down the line.

 

One thing about that is I'm debating on whether I want 1 or 2 monitors. I'd kind of like to do 3 monitors but I really don't know how I'd even fit that, so probably just stick to 1 or 2.

 

What I'm looking for in a monitor is preferably 28" inches or more. I was hoping for 4k monitors and was wondering if anyone knew of good ones that are at or coming out that won't cost an arm and leg (i would be buying 2 of them after all)

considering what you are saying i would say the best bet is going for a ultrawide monitor.

preferably around $400. that's individual, not together obviously.

If you are planning to use it for gaming, do not get two monitors. Either get one or three. If you are going to use it for work and stuff, 2 monitors are (imo) perfect.

 

Are you looking for two or three 28" or either a 28" or a 2 or 3 smaller ones? If you are going for multiple smaller ones, the Dell U2515H is pretty cheap (in the Netherlands anyway), but they do have a resolution of "only" 2560x1440 on a 25" screen.

Pretty much just for gaming. It's not really required, but I like going a bit overkill.

Keep in mind that when you play shooters or rpgs that the center of you view (like you crosshair) will be covered by the bezels. I have two U2414H's which have very thin bezels, but it is still quite annoying (which is why I play on one monitor). I've heard a program called softTH can fix this, but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm not really looking for multi-monitor gaming right off the bat. I mostly want a second monitor so i can do other things at the same time. I'd still go for a third monitor but probably wait til it's cheaper. wouldn't do multi-monitor gaming until i had a 3rd one
