Nexus 4 shutting down randomly

Hey everyone, so the story goes something like this... I am using my nexus 4 all happy and then for no reason with turns it's self off (not instant but through the proper shut down sequence) and from the point onwards it has been turning it's self off with increasing frequency and when I turn it on it usually turns off as soon as it finises booting.

 

things I've tried:

factory reset

new battery

 

and it's also out of warranty
