So, I picked up a vintage pair of Koss electrostatic headphones today... To my dismay, when I unwrapped the power adapter for the energizer, I found that the power plug has been lopped clean off! Now, I can go over to my local audio shop (where I bought them) and probably get it attached for free. That being said, I would really like to use them tonight, because I'm excited for them... Anyone know of a good way to do this without mucking up the wire? Because I would really like to use them tonight before I head back to the shop tomorrow...

Hey! New SIgnature!

Gah I hated it when my 970 was dead and one monitor just sat off doing nothing and I couldn't run games cause 650ti. :(

OP: Just go back there as soon as you can and do it. I wouldn't risk it for how expensive those headphones are. :)

Well, I mean, I got them for all of $100 so not too bad... But yeah, I will wait for tomorrow, since I'm going back there anyway, and I'd rather not electrocute myself...

They are ESP-9s, not the 950s that you've probably heard of. These predate that, I think I was told that they were made in 1969, or thereabouts. They have the gel ear pads, and those certainly need refilling, but Koss apparently does that, so... fingers crossed!
