Posted July 23, 2013 So this is my first build that i actually put together from scratch *pats back* Parts i5 3570k asus maximus 5 gene 16 gbs corsair vengeance 128 gb corsair force gs ssd 360 gb corsair force gs ssd corsair h100i corsair ax750 corsair sleeved cables corsair af fans corsair sp fans(for h100i) dual gtx 770 for people that care about monitor and keyboard and mouse acer h236hl(great ips monitor) steelseries siberia v2 headset das keyboard ultimate razer mamba razer bungee PLEASE READ now before people say if this is stricly gaming why did u go 16 gbs of ram? well because i already had 8 from last computer so i jus added another to make the comp look more full why did u go 2 graphics card if u play on one monitor? because i like playing games maxed out with smooth gameplay aka 60 frames why did u go for asus gtx 770? because asus gave it a backplate which makes it look so nice also because i wanted to make system again look full with two why not go for h220? well i do have one but the tubing on it is kinda long and glossy didnt like look but the cpu block does look better than h100i also because i couldnt mount the sp fans on the h220 without 3rd party screws idk mayb im dumb System Specs~~~~~ Case-Corsair Air 540 CPU-i7 4770k Ram-Corsair Vengeance 16 Gbs PSU-Corsair RM1000 Motherboard-Asus Maximus VI Formula Graphics-Asus Gtx 780 Ti x2 CPU Cooler-Corsair H100i SSDs-Corsair Force GS 128/360 Gb
 Posted July 23, 2013 The cable management looks great, but the PCI cables could be tucked behind the motherboard tray a little more. Posted July 23, 2013 I know you said you got two 770's for smooth game play....but one of those cards would max nearly all games at 60+ fps. If you really wanted EVERY game to be at 60fps, @ 1080p then you should have gone with a single GTX 780, which is cheaper than the dual 770's. Great looking build though. Posted July 23, 2013 also because i wanted to make system look full and i wasnt guna get two 780s lol That's an extortionate amount of money to spend just to make your system look "full". I can't say much anyhow, I'm getting dual GTX 780's for a 2560 x 1440 monitor. It looks great so who cares. CPU: 5930K @ 4.5GHz | GPU: Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Posted July 24, 2013 For 1920 x 1080 good old HD. One gtx 770 would of easily sufficed for max graphgics and smooth gameplay especially if you only really want 60 frames. I'd say get a 120 hertz or 144 hertz monitor then you could make and see ( er human eye doesn't see fps and i think we don't see over 30 on average) but the response times on them usually fair pretty well. On a single gtx 770 with pretty much maxed settings easy over 100 frames on BF3 and runs smooth. Also if you would of only gotten one card could of used that money else where to go i 7 4th gen haswell. I know it's your first computer but don't worry about making it look full... But yeah you should look into what i said since you have the video cards for it might as well get a moniter that shows more frames with super response times since its all about gaming. I wanted to go ips but ended up going with this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B2HH7G0/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got lucky i sent an older model from 2010 and used my warranty on my old monitor (it had dead pixels) and they sent me another one of what i just linked. So it was like a free upgrade . Will proabbly pick up another gtx 770 possibly if i feel the need and a third monitor, third time's the charm current command station. I mean gaming..
