I've had to fall back to my old athlon x4 631 due to setting fire to my 1155 motherboard due to a dodgey fan rewire... anyway, when i was using this cpu/mobo i had a pretty mediocre setup, x4 631, 8gb 1333, hd 6770 1gb. I could run bf4 fine on medium/low settings at 60fps, but using the same setup but with a 650ti boost my games run terribly. Im using the same ssd and windows install as my old 2500k/280x system, the only hardware differences are the mobo, gpu and cpu. Any ideas what could be causing the lack of performance?

How could i remedy this?

did you install drivers for your 650ti when you placed it in the pc? if not go here http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/353.06/353.06-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exe

if you did install drivers then send pics of the drivers u installed

if it's temporarely and you just waiting for your rma I suggest to wait and don't do annyting if it's more mid term I suggest like valdyrgramr to clear your driver using some software or do a clean install if it's worth the effort for you

no rma unfortunately as i bought the board 2nd hand. Should be getting a asrock pro 4 by end of month so might be worth just waiting
