Planning for the new setup help

I am in the process of the planning for wall mounting my 3 new monitors they are all 24 inches and i have some questions.

 

1. ANY TIPS FOR WALL MOUNTING ALL 3 OF THEM SUCCESSFULLY

 

2. I am running 5 feet of  led strip across the back of all 3 and i plan on running in  series from another set under the desk which has around 6 foot cut off. Can i just solder positive and negative to positive and negative

 

3. if so which wire will any wire do so say Speaker wire for instance (The Leds are 12V)
