Hello there!

 

I'm in need of help with something, I have a Corsair CX 430w PSU and a friend of mine who recently upgraded game me his Sapphire 7950 Dual X, and I was wondering if my set up as of now could run it.

I know that the CX430w only has 1 6+2pin PCI-E but thats why I'm asking will I be able to run it because I can go and buy a molex to 6pin PCI-E thanks for the help! :)

Yes it can run, though I would save more on the case

@Fero The stuturing of a dual core in some games is unbearable, I would go with a quad core of the same price.

I've already bought all of it except the case I have is different so I just threw that one in, all this post was for is to see if I could run a 7950 with a 430w CX Corsair psu :)

Yes you can run it, PC parts picker wattage calculator is accurate and says you got about 90 watts headroom.
