Hi guys I am here to ask you all about the Hyper X cloud 2 and how you guys feel about them. I am planning on buying these and would like to know the opinions of people that have bought these and if they didn't like them why they didn't like them. HyperX Cloud 1s is what I have, I like them, nice sound, very comfortable. The unboxing experience was amazing. I didn't see the point in getting the Cloud 2's. They just come with some crappy surround sound feature and a worse mic.

I thought that they improved the mic.

Get some Plantronics gamecom 788. Cheaper and they're currently the best headset for gaming.

No, just no.

But it is. There's nothing better price/performance wise.

Honestly, go for the originals. I have them, they sound great and I can wear them seemingly forever without them getting uncomfirtable.

The IIs are more expensive, and have an in-line '3D audio' DAC which seems excessive. The originals are more standard in use and have a cleaner look.

well, you should've said price/performance. They are nothing close to the best gaming headset though.

If you want the greatest most expensive headset you shouldn't even be looking for headsets in the first place.

I own them, but I've heard better things about the mic on the Cloud one's, but use my Yeti anyway. Really like these headphpnes, comfy, good sound quality and I like the fact that you can remove to earpads to clean them
