Hi

I have lost all audio on my pc. It just randomly stopped working. Windows does find my audio devices, but does not react to any sound. When pressing the test button on audio settings page i get error saying "Failed to play the test tone". I have tested my headphones, speakers and monitors speakers. Windows media player cannot run any MP3 files and gives me error saying "Windows media player could not play the file because of error in a audio device that is in use. There may not be a sound device in the computer. Sound device also could be used by other program or work incorrectly."

I did repair install about two weeks ago because of blue screen error.

I have tried

sfc /scannow

System restore and disc check

Re installing realtek audio drivers

rebooting the windows audio
