GPU for 4K res.

Go to solution Solved by Kinda Bottlenecked,

I'd go for 2 though, 1 980ti is barely keeping 60fps. Future games will be more demanding.

I think you should go SLI for smooth 4K gaming.

Get a single 980ti, And if you are not happy with the performance throw in another one.

A for any setup that requires a powerful GPU, the simplest answer is just to buy the most powerful GPU you can afford(within reason).

If you can afford two 980TIs, then get two. If you're only comfortable spending the money for one, then your best option is probably just to get one.. One card will perform well enough to play games at 4K, though you'll probably need to lower graphics settings in the heavier games.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

If you don't have to play at ultra, a single 980ti. If you do, 980(ti) SLI, or 970 SLI. Or wait for 390X and Crossfire them.
