Gpu's come with an adaptor already so you don't need an after market adaptor.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

1000W power supply? That is really overkill, I have a 970 and 4690k and my system only pulls around 400w.

@Agent80085 change the PSU to a 550W one from XFX/Seasonic/EVGA/Antec and you are good to go.

Maybe he wants to SLI in the future, but I really dunno.
