So right now I've got some low end Genius 2.1 Speakers and it's time for an upgrade. I love listening to music, both at low and high volumes. I also like bass, not too much but I appreciate a little more bass than normal. I want to be able to crank the volume up enough to be able to hear the music over conversations when having people over or sitting outside. I often use the speakers for gaming too.

My budget is around $300. I don't have an amp or anything, I'm gonna be using my Maximus Formula VII integrated audio.

I've been considering the KRK Rokit 5" G3, which I would connect with my PC through a 3.5mm to 2 x 6.35mm adapter. However, I think that the Rokit monitors aren't a good choice for my intended use.

I've been considering normal PC speakers, like the Logitech Z623 or the Logitech Z906 but since I use Spotify a lot the Z906 won't be a good choice.

So what would be a more ideal choice for my use? Thanks in advance!
