My first build if anyone's interested

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K slightly overclocked to 3.9GHz (running at around 60°C with Aida64 and 70°C or less with Prime95 small FTT)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1150

Memory: Kingston Fury White Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5 Solid State Drive

Storage: Toshiba  2TB 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive 

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 (factory overclocked, runs at a solid 70°C with the witcher 3 on max settings)

Case: Aerocool DS Cube Black Edition

Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular

Case Fan: Noctua NF-P14 FLX 65.0 CFM 140mm (replaced the 120mm Aerocool fan)

 

I'll soon be upgrading to a Corsair H100i water cooler. In the future when I'm minted I'll put in a custom loop.

I like everything except the HDD and case (bad luck with pretty much anything Toshiba, and I find that I like the look of the Prodigy more). What voltage are you running your 4690K at?

The HDD is just a backup really, it doesn't get used much. The prodigy is alright but I don't think it's got enough space in it and I personally prefer the look of the DS cube. I'd probably go fractal or something else if I got a different case. I'm not sure what voltage the CPU is running at, I'm changing the overclock soon anyway, giving 4.10GHz a go in a minute.

I had considered getting a Prodigy M, but I don't know if it has good airflow (GTX 480 master race) and decent cable tucking.

4.1GHz is looking good after 20 minutes of AIDA64.

I don't know how to attach images in a reply but none of the cores went over 73°C.
