Quad Core Laptop

hello all, i need some help, 

first, she is looking for something small, so about 13.3" or less, also, she doesnt want a mac.

i am looking fro a laptop for my friend, she is going to uni and is going to be doing communication, which might consist of doing editing of video and photo, she doesnt full know. so i was looking around for a quad core for laptops. looking for an i5 or i7. but what i could find, were all to big. as she is looking for a smallish laptop as i said previously. but would you suggest i make it easier and go for a dual core, because i am having a lot of trouble finding a website that can filter results by quad core. and screen size. and finding laptops that meet these requirements. she doesnt have a specific budget... just "not too much" so i would say max of about 800 euros, but if there is something amazing amazing for a bit more, then mention it, but cheaper is better. also, she needs more than 256gb of hard drive space, so some of the smaller ssd laptops cant be used. thank you for any help or suggestions.

laptop

cpu, good for video and photo editing, doesnt have to hyper threaded as wont be rendering that much.(was thinking quad core i5)

budget: about 800 euro, but less if possible.

Core i5s are all dual cores in laptops. So are many laptop Core i7s. You need a Core i7 with a Q or X in the suffix, but you're going to have a tough time finding one in a thin 13 inch laptop. They're usually found in larger devices with better cooling.

Exactly. With that in mind, my recommendation is a Dell XPS 13
