Asus GTX 970

Hello,

This is a pretty new build. I just recently purchased the Asus GTX 970. I've been experiencing a lot of my games crashing to the desktop. Sometimes, it'll let me play for about an hour or so, then crashes. I don't have anything overclocked yet. Once I get everything stable, I'll probably start doing so. Sometimes I do have the fan speed turned up to about 60% while playing.

Games:
Witcher 3
Dragon Nest
Warframe
Smite
LoL
etc.

My setup:
Windows 7 Ultimate
Asus P8P67 Rev. 3.0
Core i5 3470 3.2 GHz
Asus GTX 970
1 750 GB HDD, 1 350 GB HDD
2x 80GB SSD Intel 320 series
4x2 Ram Transcend (8GB Total)
Corsair HX 650 PSU
Asus VX248H Monitor

I've tried:
Re-seating the Graphics Card
Uninstall and reinstall the drivers
Switching PCI Slots

As for the BSOD, that is probably only the 2nd time I've ever gotten it. All other crashes doesn't say anything.
If anyone can help, that would be great! Thank you all in advance!

Have you tried removing the graphics card and gaming with just the on board to isolate the issue, Also let a friend try the card and see if he gets the crashes as well. This to me could also be a MB issue.

is it the strix you have? you might be having the problems of the strix that's reapeating (power delivery and overheating issues).

I'd rma it, and if you have the strix rma it for another 970
