Well Fallout 3 is dead.. cannot launch it at all without is crashing on startup :(

 

Before it happened i applied the large address aware mod which makes Fallout a 64 bit game using more available system ram, but it crashed.

 

So i deleted the patched .EXE and verified the files with Steam which re-downloaded the EXE..

 

It still refuses to work.

If you are not modding it to fuck dont worry about the 4gb thing. But I can tell you that mod should not cause any instability.

You probably have to delete all the configuration files too...

Just go through the uninstallation process as instructed by the mod itself.

Go to nexus, find the mod you used, and then READ, only way you can get out of this without a reinstall of the game.

Got it to load up again, turns out it was a mod known as blackened...

 

Went to load my save game.. crashed...

Well well.. disabled project reality, it loads my saved game, but it appears that the entire game is now using no mods (visuals)

 

Looks like i will have to re-install all mods.
