Try another restore point if you have more than one, worst case you might have to re install windows, or possibly have a dying HDD,

They could go bad at any point.... Less likely since its WD versus some other brands but still possible.

If you would like I can ask someone if they will have a look at your dump files.

Go to start menu and select "Computer"

Right Click the HDD you want to perform Chkdsk on

Go to "Properties"

Go to the "Tools" tab

Select error checking "Check Now"

Check both boxes and select start.

It will start the next time the computer is booted .

I looked up the system file in your blue screen, and it belongs to Roxio (gaming capture card), the RzFilter.sys is a driver from Roxio, it has to be either updated or uninstalled if you do happpen to have it on your PC. Did you try another restore point.

Press F8 before windows logo appears

Go to Repair Your computer

Select system restore point.

Select a Restore point when Your PC defintely was running fine.

Im not 100% if this works this way but try this, go to Command Prompt at the bottom instead of select system restore point and use his

First off, could you tell us your specs?

Does your hard drive make any vibrations or noises?

Does the computer work in other rooms?

Did you damage part of the hard drive during movement? (did you drop it?)

  • 2 weeks later...

I know this is old, but fl4ilinat0r, did you have razr comunications and razr core installed? YOU HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM I JUST HAD.

Let me explain.

I turned off my computer and unplugged all the cables. I staged it in its packaging, because i will be moving soon and wanted to check the fit (some closed cell foam from work). I put it back in plugged it in and hit the power button. To my surprise, BSOD. same errors as you had. I googled the .sys file and it led me to LTT forum. I thought to myself, fantastic! With the guidance of this thread I went into safemode and uninstalled RAZR core. Rebooted and BAM problem gone. Sorry I couldn't help before you re-installed.
